Job summary

The Ohio School of Phlebotomy in Atlanta is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join as a Phlebotomy Instructor. You will teach and mentor students, delivering lectures and hands-on training across morning, afternoon, and evening sessions.

Responsibilities include preparing content, administering assessments, and maintaining accurate records while aligning with state regulations and the school's curriculum. Onsite teaching is expected with a focus on accessible, affordable education.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous teaching experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school's textbook.
  • Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
  • Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
  • Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.
  • Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.
  • Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.
  • We offer Phlebotomy classes during both weekdays and weekends during the morning, afternoon, and evening.
