Job summary

Sinclair College is seeking a part-time adjunct for Clinical Phlebotomy in Dayton, OH. The role requires teaching curriculum developed by the department and flexibility across Centerville, Courseview (Mason), or Hope Center campuses.

Minimum one year as a phlebotomist and a high school diploma are required; a Phlebotomy certificate is preferred. Benefits include tuition waiver and STRS pension participation; teaching experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; Certificate of Phlebotomy preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a phlebotomist required.
• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a culturally diverse college community.
• Skills in using modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections per department policies.
• Use appropriate teaching strategies and instructional technology when appropriate.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters on time.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with health requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
