Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• ASCP or equivalent certification (PBT or MT/MLT).
• Minimum of 3 years recent hospital-based inpatient phlebotomy experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent).
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Sensitivity to respond to community needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers learning activities to achieve course outcomes.
• Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
• Evaluates and grades students’ work and exams.
• Maintains and submits attendance records, grades and documentation by deadlines.
• Be available to students for coaching.
• Periodic meetings with supervisors and college teams regarding teaching duties and development.
