Job summary

Ohio School of Phlebotomy, Inc. is seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Instructor to join our faculty. You will prepare and lecture on specified content, administer assessments, and lead hands-on labs to help students develop practical skills in phlebotomy.

This onsite position requires at least 3 years of field experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and US work authorization. Teaching experience is not required, and we offer weekday and weekend classes with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook.
• Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
• Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.
• Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.
• Follow the curriculum as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state.
