Phlebotomy and Customer Service Specialist (Per Diem Float/Day & Evening Shifts)

Overview

This role supports outpatient lab testing across 17 locations, requiring flexibility and travel. Hours vary between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Responsibilities

1. Patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and coordination of services.
2. Performing clinical skills: phlebotomy, EKG, holter monitors, point-of-care testing, specimen collection.
3. Maintaining competency in clinical skills and equipment.
4. Accurate documentation and communication with patients and staff.
5. Supporting billing and insurance processes, including collections.
6. Additional procedures like EKG and vital signs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience.
• Basic computer skills and office equipment familiarity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy or registration experience.
• Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems.
