This role involves providing patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and specimen collection including phlebotomy, EKG, and point-of-care testing across various outpatient laboratory sites in regions like Columbia, County Line, Crooked Oak, and more. The position primarily floats between labs, including weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and maintain specimen integrity.
  • Register patients accurately and support insurance and referral processes.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as EKG and holter monitors as needed.
  • Support patient communication regarding appointments, co-pays, and pre-visit instructions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year of clerical or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in phlebotomy or registration preferred.
  • Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records.
