Job summary

Preferred Primary Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist for a busy office in the Uniontown area. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of clinical phlebotomy experience, is comfortable with computers, and can multitask in a fast-paced setting.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for graduates from an accredited medical assistant program. The role offers a Monday through Friday day schedule, competitive starting pay, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

Must have at least 6 months experience as a clinical Phlebotomist.
Comfortable working with computers and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED required; graduate from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

Verifies test requisitions and patient identity, ensuring accuracy.
Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture and fingersticks.
Maintains specimen integrity and follows aseptic technique and department procedures.
Maintains daily tallies of collections and records results as required.
Ensures a safe and compliant work environment according to standards and regulations.
