Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Six months of Medical Assistant experience preferred, open to new graduates.
• Phlebotomy skills required; a Phlebotomy Certification with rooming, vitals, and injections experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and related clerical tasks.
• Record patient data, vital signs, height/weight, and allergies prior to visits.
• Administer injections and collect blood specimens per physician’s directions.
• Schedule tests and follow-ups; manage charting and basic office duties.
