Job summary

You will verify specimen quality, assist with registration, and support accessioning of procedures. The role requires high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience; certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture specimen collection with accuracy.
• Label, process, and dispatch specimens to appropriate testing locations.
• Greet and assist patients, collect necessary information, and support registration/ accessioning.
• May perform point-of-care testing and ensure quality control and equipment maintenance.
