Job summary

Labcorp in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections, handle patient interactions, and support sample processing across two local sites. You will be a face of Labcorp, ensuring accurate data entry and timely specimen handling.

The role requires 1+ year phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma or GED, with flexibility to travel between locations. Expect a 5:00am–1:30pm schedule and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
