Qualifications

• Phlebotomy externship or 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures accurately and within established turn-around times.
• Recognizes abnormal, unexpected situations and investigates prior to delivering specimen to testing area.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Answers phone calls and provides information courteously.
• Monitors specimen integrity.
