*** Lawrence General Hospital is offering up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus for the Phlebotomist positions ***

As the Phlebotomist Support Services Technician, you will ensure the highest level of service to all requesting stations for blood sample procurement. You may perform limited laboratory procedures in planting, expediting, and reference lab stations. Responsibilities include answering directed phone calls regarding orders, patient results, add-on tests, registering patients, processing specimens, and promoting a positive, friendly image to patients, visitors, and hospital personnel. You will also obtain and enter pertinent personal, financial, and insurance data into the hospital and laboratory computer systems via CRT to accurately process inpatient and outpatient registrations and specimens, and initiate the claims process as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited agency for Phlebotomy
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• New graduates are welcome; phlebotomy experience, certification, and computer skills are preferred
• Must be flexible to rotate all shifts as needed
