Job summary

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a Phlebotomist in Newnan, GA, with a flexible workload as hours will be needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification, with at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Position

Phlebotomist – Newnan, GA
Work Schedule: Casual/Per Diem; hours will be "as needed" and the start and end times will vary.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
