Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Rover for Mishawaka, IN. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections for patients across ages, with focus on accurate data entry and specimen handling. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment is preferred.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Rover to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana Work Schedule: This position will work an 8 hour shift Monday - Friday with rotational start and end times between 5:00am - 5:00pm; this position will cover two locations in Mishawaka.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications

2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation Be at least 21 years’ old
