Zusammenfassung

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Rover to join our Mishawaka, Indiana team. This role covers two Mishawaka locations with an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating start and end times between 5:00am and 5:00pm.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, enter patient data, and provide outstanding customer service. Training and certification requirements include a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited program and 1 year of experience.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Rover to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana

Work Schedule

This position will work an 8 hour shift Monday - Friday with rotational start and end times between 5:00am - 5:00pm; this position will cover two locations in Mishawaka.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups


• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.


• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner


• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary


• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis


• Maintain patient and specimen information logs


• Provide superior customer service to all patients


• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary


• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent


• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency


• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service


• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal


• Ability to work independently or in a team environment


• Comfortable working under minimal supervision


• Reliable transportation


• Flexibility to work overtime as needed


• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test


• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation


• Be at least 21 years’ old

Phlebotomist will work in client offices. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
