We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Opportunities for continuous growth within the organization will be provided.

Work Schedule

Your planned work schedule will be roving between locations/hours Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays. The hours and locations may vary based on business needs and supervisor requests. The current schedule is:

• 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; every third Saturday 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This position crosses multiple locations in South Bend and Mishawaka, with the entire shift spent at one location.

Employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which offers quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Accurately and promptly enter patient information
• Process billing information and collect payments as required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
