Job summary

Henderson Hospital is seeking a phlebotomy professional to perform venipunctures and collect patient specimens with adherence to testing and collection requirements. Role requires basic computer knowledge and may involve moderate supervision.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; a phlebotomy training program is acceptable. Certification upon hire is required or substituted by state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or successful completion of phlebotomy training is required upon hire.
• Experience as Lab Assistant, phlebotomist, ER technician, LPN or paramedic with phlebotomy skill set preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; phlebotomy training program acceptable.
