Job summary

Colonial Group at Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville, OH is hiring a Phlebotomist/Processor for Part-Time Evening shifts (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation, and for Full-Time Night shifts (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with weekend and holiday rotation.

You will collect, transport, and process laboratory specimens, perform venipuncture and capillary draws, label and prepare samples, complete requisitions, and maintain accurate records in a hospital lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some phlebotomy experience or training preferred.

Position Summary:

The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred.

Safety & Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk 5-7 miles daily and stand for entire shift.
• Exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals.
• Adherence to safety, ergonomic, and health policies.
• Compliance with PPE requirements in lab or biohazard areas.
• Completion of required safety training and health evaluations promptly.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety hazards, promoting safety awareness.
