CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, located at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH, seeks a Night Shift Manager to lead the Collections and Processing departments. This full-time role requires steering daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and compliance to ensure high-quality patient care across shifts.

Responsibilities include staff development, performance appraisals, training, process documentation, and collaboration with other managers. Phlebotomy duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in phlebotomy with increasing responsibilities in a medical lab.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
• Deadline-oriented with excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the Collections and Processing departments.
• Develop staffing plans and ensure schedules meet service delivery requirements.
• Monitor timekeeping and manage department overtime; submit payroll records on time.
• Assist in developing and managing department budget.
• Oversee training programs and competency assessments.
• Interview, select, and train new employees; manage performance appraisals.
• Communicate with staff through meetings and memos; collaborate with other managers.
• Develop compliance, ergonomic, and safety procedures; ensure policy compliance.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives and positive internal/external interactions.
• Lead process improvements and participate in management discussions.
