HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN in Pasadena, Texas. You will obtain and prepare specimens for analysis, perform venipunctures and capillary sticks, and support patient care across age groups from neonate to geriatric in a fast-paced hospital lab setting.

The role requires 2–3 years of clinical phlebotomy experience, strong communication, and adherence to safety protocols. BCLS certification is required.

Formación

• Two to three years of clinical/phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Proficient in venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Excellent verbal communication and multi-tasking skills.
• BCLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Receive, process and distribute laboratory specimens; stock supplies as needed.
• Verify patient identification at bedside and ensure safety during handling of specimens.
• Perform venipunctures and capillary sticks as directed by supervision.
