HCA Healthcare’s Medical City North Hills is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to perform phlebotomy procedures and support laboratory operations in a busy hospital setting. The role involves greeting patients, collecting specimens, labeling, data entry, and assisting with clerical tasks to ensure timely processing of samples.

Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience or completion of a clinical phlebotomy program is required, with BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomist role requires venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Customer-focused patient interaction and ability to instruct proper collection.
• Accurate labeling and data entry of specimen information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and instruct proper specimen collection methods.
• Draw blood specimens via finger sticks, heelsticks, or venipuncture as required.
• Label specimens and enter data into the system.
• Prepare samples for microbiology, hematology, serology, blood bank, and urinalysis.
• Assist with telephone-based clerical tasks and scheduling.
