Schedule: PRN - as needed

Shift: Days and Evenings

Location: Hospital and Outpatient Locations

The role you’ll contribute: Provide phlebotomy services for inpatient and outpatient populations; handle receipt, processing, and management of laboratory specimens.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Follow departmental and regulatory policies for proper patient and specimen identification.
• Perform venipuncture procedures accurately, safely, and efficiently, adhering to departmental and regulatory standards.
• Perform alternative specimen collection methods, such as heelsticks and fingersticks, following standards and policies.
• Identify and resolve preanalytical specimen issues.
• Utilize Laboratory Information System for specimen processing to ensure timely and accurate workflow.
