The primary responsibility of the phlebotomist is to competently and efficiently obtain urine and blood samples via venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick. The phlebotomist should understand the computer system, monitor sample statuses, and input and retrieve information from various systems to maintain workflow within the laboratory.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of phlebotomy experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Phlebotomy Technician certification.
