Job summary

Qualifications

2 years experience as CPT or Lab Assistant or equivalent in a clinical setting.
CA Phlebotomist license required upon hire.
American Heart Association CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Collect blood and other specimens following CLSI guidelines and lab policies.
Enter lab tests and create collection batches in laboratory information systems.
Prepare, label, and transport specimens accurately and safely.
Explain procedures to patients and educate on proper sample collection.
Ensure compliance with billing and orders; maintain complete patient data.
