Job summary

El-Proyecto-Del-Barrio is seeking a Phlebotomist to draw blood for diagnostic testing under supervision in a clinic setting. You will verify patient identity, collect samples, label specimens, and ensure proper handling and documentation.

Ideal candidates have completed a phlebotomy program, CPT certification, and 0–1 year of clinical experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; driving and vaccinations proof may be required for employment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a phlebotomy program.
• 0–1 year of experience, preferably including clinical setting; diagnostic testing experience preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients in clinic, verify identity, perform blood draws.
• Draw blood following protocols and dispose of sharps properly.
• Label specimens accurately and process lab requisitions.
• Maintain records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Interact professionally with patients and families; maintain safety standards.
