Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Phlebotomy training program required.
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Some evening or weekend work required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous, arterial, and capillary draws on adult and pediatric patients as per procedure.
• Identify patients and label all tubes correctly to prevent mislabeling.
• Draw and deliver blood to the lab in a timely manner.
• Follow isolation, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Respond to patient needs and re-schedule collections as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and a clean, organized work area.
