Grady Health System is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our dynamic hospital laboratory team in Atlanta. You will perform venipuncture and microcollection, ensure accurate specimen collection, and support daily operations to uphold quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification (NHA/NPCE/NCCT/AMT/ASCP) required.
• At least one year of hospital-based phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and microcollection with precision and compassion.
• Ensure timely, high-quality specimen collection, processing, and distribution.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient and specimen data in the LIS.
• Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Serve as a Senior Phlebotomist when needed, providing guidance and support to peers.
