Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Sneedville, TN. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, ensuring accurate patient data and proper specimen handling.

This role emphasizes customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a phlebotomy certification or training, with 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program (or 3 months+ experience).
• Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
