Job summary

CHI Williston Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood and other specimens for diagnostic testing while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will identify patients, explain procedures, perform venipunctures, and label/prep specimens following safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• CPR/BLS within 90 days
• Experience with venipuncture and specimen handling preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain procedures clearly
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens
• Label and prepare specimens for lab analysis
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy areas
• Adhere to isolation and hand hygiene procedures
• Follow blood collection and Blood Bank procedures
