Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages, and transports specimens to the laboratory.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and workspace according to safety standards.
• Accurately documents patient and specimen information in the laboratory system.
• Collects timed specimens as ordered and adheres to turnaround times.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to resolve collection challenges.
