Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consults with providers/patients regarding phlebotomy service issues.
• Ensures quality and accuracy of work.
• Investigates problems with equipment, results, specimens, and workflow.
• May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.
• May teach and train new employees and students.
• Reviews test results for accuracy and timely reporting.
• Performs phlebotomy, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
• Ensures completion of daily work and monitors lab operations.
