Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist (Per Diem). The role involves phlebotomy, specimen labeling and processing in a busy laboratory setting, with on-site work and first shift duties.

Job Summary:

Adhere to correct policy and procedures in carrying out routine tasks. Collects and processes patient specimens for testing in adherence with laboratory protocols. Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases. Prepare samples/specimens for producing accurate and reliable results by following collection procedure.

Required Experience:

Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work. Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist in a medical setting preferred. Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Training / Certification / Licensure:

Formal phlebotomy training required. ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Hourly Rate: $25.00
