Onsite, 1st Shift

Location:

Horsham, PA

Schedule:

7 am - 3:30 pm Mon-Fri and every other weekend 7 am - 2 pm

Job Description:
  • The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients, assisting them with health routines and health decisions.
  • Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
  • Builds trust with patients by explaining procedures and performing blood draws safely and accurately.
  • Demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
  • Depending on needs, may be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations.
  • Performs daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
  • Maintains a safe and professional environment.
  • Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established practices.
  • Verifies patient demographic information and labels specimens correctly.
  • Maintains records and documentation as required.
  • Promotes a positive image and demonstrates organizational commitment.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
  • Adherence to policies, safety, and dress code.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Training locations may vary.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in CA, NV, WA.
Work Experience:
  • At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
