Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative - 1st Shift

Location: Commack, NY

Duration: 6 months Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Pay Range: $18 - $21/Hr

Shift/Time Zone: A Schedule 6-2 pm. B schedule 6-1 pm Sat 7-12 pm

Job Description:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the face of the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing following established procedures. They create a trusting environment, explaining procedures clearly, and demonstrating leadership and process excellence while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Under supervision, they perform daily activities accurately, maintain a safe environment, and uphold a professional image.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Work Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of experience.
• Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
• Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry skills required.
