Job summary

Labcorp in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm with rotating Saturdays 6:30am–11:00am. You will perform blood collections and specimen handling, ensuring accuracy and patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service and communication skills. On-site work with potential travel to client sites and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
