Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Tucker, GA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm with 1-hour lunch break and Saturdays maybe included.

The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens for testing, and delivering excellent patient service at patient service centers or client offices. Full training and growth opportunities are provided within Labcorp's extensive network.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent, or phlebotomy certification.
• At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Conduct administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to other sites as required.
