Job summary

Labcorp in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled blood collections and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate patient records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 1 year of experience. You will travel to additional sites as needed and may work overtime.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months of phlebotomy experience
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Travel to additional sites when needed
