Job summary

Labcorp in Downingtown, PA is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused laboratory team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages and handle specimen processing with accuracy.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday 7am–2pm, with every Saturday 7am–12pm. A valid phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience, and strong customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
