Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification required or CMA certification.
• Experience in healthcare phlebotomy preferred.
• Familiar with EMR systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and venipuncture per age-related standards and policies.
• Demonstrates patient communication and optimizes patient safety.
• Enters orders and verifies test results in multiple systems.
• Processes specimens with proper labeling, centrifugation, and transport.
• Maintains safety, biohazard waste handling, and clean work environment.
