Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Ironton, OH. The role involves performing blood collections, preparing specimens for testing, and providing exceptional patient service at a Labcorp site or client office.

Responsibilities include data entry, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training or experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
