Job summary

EvergreenHealth Monroe seeks a professional Phlebotomist to collect blood specimens and provide patient care in a clinical lab. Qualifications

• High school graduate and WA MA-Phlebotomist certification required or in progress at hire.
• Must obtain DOH certification within 90 days if not present at hire date.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at start.

Responsibilities

• Greet patient and confirm identity before procedures.
• Perform venipuncture or finger/heel sticks according to policy.
• Label specimens with patient details and time of collection.
• Transport and log specimens in the LIS system.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and manage supplies.
• Assist with QA and participate in continuing education.
