Job summary

Labcorp in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with potential overtime and Saturdays as needed. You will perform blood collections, collect samples for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering exceptional patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma. Preferred experience includes 2+ years in phlebotomy, pediatric to geriatric patient support, and prior LabCorp

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment.
• 1+ year experience assisting diverse patient groups (pediatric to geriatric).
• Current or prior LabCorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
