Job summary

Labcorp's Phlebotomist position in Puyallup, WA, offers weekday hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm) with occasional overtime. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter patient data, and assist with billing while delivering excellent patient service at multiple sites.

Qualified candidates hold a Washington Phlebotomy license and have 6+ months of phlebotomy experience, including some Labcorp exposure. Travel to additional sites may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• 6+ months of current or prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
