Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Federal Way, WA. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm, with potential overtime and occasional Saturdays. A valid WA phlebotomy license is required; prior Labcorp experience is preferred. We offer a quarterly incentive bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License.
• 6 or more months of phlebotomy experience.
• 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
