Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One of CMA, Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist certification, or EMT license/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from patients (blood, urine) and ensure specimen integrity.
• Maintain instruments and supply room in clean, safe condition.
• Perform related phlebotomy duties and document results and paperwork as required.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in EHR to ensure correct identification.
• Adhere to universal precautions and dress code; communicate effectively with patients and staff.
