Job summary

Labcorp in Sparks, NV is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter patient data, and provide friendly, accurate service to diverse patients.

The role requires a Nevada Lab Assistant license or eligibility to apply, and preferred candidates have 1+ year phlebotomy experience and bilingual English/Spanish. Salary ranges from $17.75 to $27.69 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Nevada state license required or eligible to apply for a lab assistant license.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests and other analyses.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
