Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will ensure proper patient identification, labeling, and specimen handling using the LIS system, while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, supporting float coverage, and maintaining phlebotomy supplies, with periodic training and competency assessments.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Obtain venous and capillary blood samples with proper patient identification and labeling.
• Use the LIS system to collect, receive, cancel, and reprint labels as needed.
• Assist with inventory control of phlebotomy supplies and maintain organization of draw stations.
• Treat patients with courtesy and respect; be flexible to cover shifts as needed.
• Care for electronic devices and charge batteries; maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Complete trainings, yearly competencies, CAP assignments, and related documentation.
• Perform other duties per lab management guidance.
• Work across outpatient, inpatient, surgical, ED and trauma areas as required.
