Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy; Medical Laboratory; or Medical Assistant program that includes phlebotomy preferred.
• Familiar with medical terminology; computer data entry; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy including venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Ensures specimen integrity and meets collection requirements.
• Operates the laboratory computer system for documentation and order entry.
• Coordinates with team to ensure quality and cost-efficient operations.
• Maintains a neat, sanitary collection area and restocks supplies as needed.
• Participates in on-call and varied work duties as assigned.
