Qualifications

• BLS Required
• High School Diploma, Preferred.
• Twelve months of phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor, Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing by venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swabs.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all laboratory activities.
• Communicate procedures with patients and families with empathy.
• Support on-call shifts and holiday rotations as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement projects.
