Firelands Health in Bellevue, OH is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. You will greet patients, collect specimens, and ensure accurate entry of orders in the laboratory computer system while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate is preferred. CPR/BLS certification, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid Ohio driver's license are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified and recertified bi-annually.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly.
• Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable under Firelands' policy.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and enter physician orders into the laboratory computer system.
• Perform proper patient identification during all specimen collections.
• Answer phones, complete requests, and relay messages.
• Maintain knowledge of computer applications needed for job duties.
• Provide clear communication and documentation to coworkers, patients, and clients.
• Serve patients of all ages in routine duties.
